From trivial pursuit to industry leader...
Cupik Design began as a fun ‘side hustle’ in 2012 when my 18-month old baby girl started going to playgroup, and all her school supplies needed to be labelled with her name. I was a busy freelance brand manager at the time, and paid little heed to the seedling of an industry I inadvertently sowed back then.
Soon, as the word spread about my ‘oh-so-cute’ personalised stationery, I found myself in a position where a choice needed to be made. I decided to give up my brand management clients, and plunged headlong into making a mark in the rapidly growing kids’ business in India. Boy am I glad!
Why the name Cupik Design? Does it mean anything?
Yessss....'Cup-ik' was my little baby’s first word (she was trying to say 'cupcake')
Nearly twelve years later, Cupik Design is the largest personalized stationery and gifts brand in India. Our current stationery portfolio spans everything that a person will need throughout their lifetime…in beautiful designs and bang on trend, every time! Not to mention the array of gorgeous personalised gifts we’ve brought on board thanks to partnerships with other equally quality-conscious Indian brands.
Our focus on quality products, excellent customer service and innovative offerings has helped us acquire an enviable clientele over the years. It’s also the reason why more than 85% of our clients endorse us and rate us so highly!
Validation in the kids’ space came when we won awards for personalised gifting by Kidsstoppress (the only platform that recognizes excellence in kids’ brands in India) in 2014, 2016 and 2019.
The pandemic brought its own challenges, but it gave us a chance to pivot and explore the Corporate Gifting space in India. We pride ourselves on being gifting and stationery partners for giants like Viacom18, Deloitte, Great Eastern Shipping Company and many other equally prestigious names.
